Who We Are

Fyndo is an ADHD-friendly task manager and focus timer designed to help users capture tasks, focus, track progress, and build routines. In this policy, "Fyndo," "we," "us," or "our" means the developer and operator of the Fyndo app and website.

Information You Create in the App

Fyndo lets you create and manage information such as tasks, categories, priorities, focus sessions, progress, routines, recurring tasks, app preferences, and related productivity data.

This information is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, this information may be synced through your Apple iCloud account so it can be available across your Apple devices. We do not operate our own server database for your task content.

Voice Capture

If you use voice input, audio and dictation may be processed by iOS, Apple speech recognition, or Apple dictation services, depending on your device settings and Apple's current system behavior. Fyndo uses the resulting text to create or update your task. We do not sell voice data and do not use it for advertising.

Apple's handling of dictation, Siri, speech recognition, and iCloud features is governed by Apple's own privacy terms and settings.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud sync is enabled, your Fyndo data may be stored in and synced through Apple iCloud. iCloud sync is provided by Apple. We do not control Apple's infrastructure, Apple ID settings, iCloud availability, or Apple's privacy practices.

You can manage iCloud settings through your device and Apple ID settings. Turning off iCloud sync may affect whether Fyndo data is available across your devices.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Any paid features, subscriptions, trials, refunds, cancellations, and billing are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Apple may provide us with limited purchase status information needed to unlock app features, validate entitlements, prevent fraud, and support customer requests.

Support Communications

If you contact us by email or through a support channel, we may receive your name, email address, message content, screenshots, device details, and any other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, improve the app, and maintain records of support requests.

Diagnostics and Analytics

Fyndo may receive limited diagnostics or crash information provided by Apple, such as crash logs, performance information, device model, operating system version, and app version, depending on your Apple device privacy settings.

We use diagnostics to fix bugs, improve performance, and keep the app reliable. We do not use diagnostics for third-party advertising.

Website Data

When you visit this website, standard technical information may be processed by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used for security, performance, abuse prevention, and basic website operation.

This website does not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies or targeted advertising trackers.

How We Use Information

Device Permissions

Fyndo may request device permissions only when needed for a feature, such as microphone or speech recognition for voice capture, notifications for reminders, and iCloud access for sync. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

App data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, reset your device, or remove the relevant data. Data synced through iCloud may remain in iCloud according to your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Support emails and related communications may be retained for a reasonable period so we can respond, resolve issues, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. You may ask us to delete support communications unless we need to retain them for legitimate legal, security, or business reasons.

Sharing Information

We may share limited information with service providers only where necessary to operate Fyndo and this website, such as Apple for App Store distribution, iCloud, purchases, diagnostics, and device services; hosting providers for this website; and email/support providers if you contact us.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information we process. However, no app, device, network, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, passcode, and backups.
